these brownies are perfect for every occassion

Brownies (everyway)

Preheat oven to 180C
Line a 20x30cm tin

200g Butter
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup flour
2 eggs

In a medium saucepan over low heat combine 200g butter, 1/2 cup of cocoa, a teaspoon of vanilla, and 2 cups of brown sugar.
Once melted take off the heat.
Mix in the cup of flour, then beat in the eggs.
Pour into the tray and bake for 20 minutes.
Take out of the oven to cool.
Cut up and enjoy hot, or refrigerate for later.

This recipe is extremely hardy.
I make it with gluten free flour, and dairy free spread.
It also works (although it’s slightly different) with no eggs or oil instead of butter.
I usually use raw sugar, but any sugar of the appropriate quantity works. Less sugar also works.
It is easy to double the recipe and it’s so quick and simple to make.
